Witam serdecznie,
Sprzedam wyjątkowo stary list wysłany 11 września 1912 roku - 5 miesięcy po katastrofie Titanica!
List składa się z 3 kartek zachowanych w idealnym stanie!
Został wysłany do Middleburg w stanie Nowy Jork.
Matka napisała w liście do swojej córki podziwiając ją za to, że dużo pracuje i zastanawiała się kiedy jej córka (Ehma) ma czas żeby spać. Później mama (najprawdopodobniej) wspomina o winogronach, o spotkaniu i kilku innych rzeczach.
Podjąłem się rozszyfrowania treści listu - oto on: (nie jest to w 100% poprawnie rozszyfrowane, brakuje kilku słów itd.)
"My Dear,
Well how are you this fine afternoon? Think it is just fine (nit)
I suppose are very sleepy to-day being up so late, really kid
I don’t see how you keep work till such a late hours, or do you sleep once in a while haha
you know I always want to go to bed early. imthee mom.
Strona II:
I saw ?.B. this a.m. supose (suppose) she told you. she said you were going up to my house and get (got) some grapes. you know you can have all the Grapes you want, but I wish you would wait for me I will be over about 8.30 or some where about that time
then we can go together
now you see I have wrote in this note that I was coming here but do not know if you want me to or not.
Strona III:
I was some disapestee when you told me F. … was coming over..
So you will have to tell me now. Please do not for get it.
or you can come over and tell me. do like you did yesterday. come with Flansy
I suppose you enjoyed the show very much last time
hope so the pictures hurt my eyes. they did that night you and I were there but did not admit it. Well I hope you get this in time so get can and be good
