Delta Vector is looking for candidates to fill Electrician position.

Work hours : Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:00, with overtime as required.

Job Description

Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Electrical Lead. Reads and interprets wiring schematics, instructions, documentation. Ensures highest quality standards are instilled in all systems installed. Maintains, repairs, and replaces or installs a broad range of electrical equipment and support systems in support of base Operations and maintenance activities. Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities. Support Electrical Lead in identifying proper materials required for specific installations. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment

Responsibilities:

·       Operate, maintain, and repair facilities electrical distribution systems, such as, interior lighting, exterior lighting including control panel, power distribution panels, receptacles, switches, motors, etc.

·       Operate, maintain, and repair the permanent 50HZ electrical power transmission systems, transformers and distribution systems originating from 15KV switching station.

·       Operate, maintain, and repair backup electrical power generation plant and Transmission/distribution systems

·       Additional work includes, but is not limited to, maintenance/operation of miscellaneous electrical power generators, and system components, such as, switchgear, medium and low voltage distribution lines, monitoring and regulation of equipment controls, structures and poles, street, and perimeter lighting

·       Assist with different departments as needed.

·       Maintain an inventory of spare parts based on our most likely needs

·       Maintaining electrical equipment documents to include operating records, logs, and reports

Requirements:

·       Electrical high school diploma.

·       The candidate must be electrical low voltage power licensed in compliance with all Polish laws and regulation, however medium voltage license will be appreciated

·       Good communication skills.

·       Be familiar with Preventive Maintenance Program

·       Good written and oral communication skills in English at a technical level

·       Organized in all duties

·       Methodical approach to work

·       Minimum 3-5 years’ experience

·       Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination.

·       Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects, at least 25 pounds, able to work at high.

·       Able to work safely with a variety of equipment and tools

·       Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods

·       Valid driver’s license
