The new Jamis designed Ventura aluminum fork features a tapered crown, larger fork blades and aluminum steerer for increased stiffness and strength. A complete Shimano Sora/2300 16-speed drivetrain, including STI shifters, assures light, precise shifting throughout the entire gear range. Sport's wheelset features light-but-durable double-wall aluminum rims, smooth rolling Formula alloy hubs and stainless steel spokes trued precisely with even spoke tension to stay in true. FSA's compact chainring concept is revolutionary: a 34T inner chainring offers a 15% lower gear ratio than traditional 39T double ringed road cranks, but the 50T outer loses only 6% off the top end compared to the 53T traditional outer. You get the hill climbing capability of a triple, yet weight less than a standard double. A sealed cartridge bottom bracket improves performance and reduces maintenance. Tektro's dual pivot brakes with adjustable pads offer safe, secure braking and high quality forged alloy construction. Vittoria's Zaffiro 23c tires offer legendary, road-holding capability and superior ride quality. Jamis ergonomic over-sized 31.8 bar & stem combination offers greater support & stiffness when sprinting out of the saddle with 55mm of shim stack under the stem allowing for over 2" of stem height adjustability.
